Still (Cover Version of Lionel Richie)

STILL

After a long duration absent of singing Lionel Richie's song, I am using the new method recording and excited to get record some karaoke singing of Lionel Richie's song. It is distinctly clear and quite happy with the results especially the song Three Times A Lady. This is one is also one of my best recorded. Hope you will get some excitement listening my clarity of my voices and so many words I wanna to say. But I do lost in the storm of love songs and these karaoke singing too.

"Still" is a song by the soul music group the Commodores. It reached number one in the U.S. in 1979. It was released as a single on Motown Records with "Such a Woman" as the B-side. The song appears on their hit album Midnight Magic. The song reached the top of both the pop and R&B charts.[1] It is one of the group's most popular singles. The song is also notable for being their last R&B #1 before Lionel Richie went solo. It also reached #4 in the UK Singles Charts.

In 1981, actor-singer John Schneider took a cover version to number 69 on the pop charts. It was the b-side to his country single "Them Good Ol' Boys Are Bad", which reached number 13 on the country charts.[2]

Lyrics

Lady, morning's just a moment away
I'm without you once again
You laughed at me
You said you never needed me
I wonder if you need me now

We played the games that people play
We made our mistakes along the way
Somehow I know deep in my heart
You needed me

Remembering the pain if I must say
It's deep in my mind and locked away
But then most of all, I do love you
Still

We played the games that people play
We made our mistakes along the way
Somehow I know deep in my heart
You needed me

'Cause I needed you so desperately
We were too blind to see
But then most of all, but then most of all
But then most of all, I do love you
Still
